Olympia Chambers

History

Olympia Chambers was formed in 2013 its first and current Head of Chambers is Mr. George Chu together with other seasoned practitioners in chancery, commercial and criminal practice. It has 15 members now and Counsel of these chambers have appeared at various levels of courts including the Court of Final Appeal and in Arbitration.

Olympia Chambers is situated in New Henry House, 10 Ice House Street, Central, Hong Kong, a well-known place for the Hong Kong legal community.

Olympia Chambers has a strong tradition of judicial and public appointments, the members have served in statutory bodies or tribunals including being part-time member of the Central Policy Unit. A former member has served as a Deputy Magistrate.

Members of Chambers also participate in Arbitration and Mediation as advocate, arbitrator or mediator.

The Chambers is equipped with state-of-the-art information technology hardware and software to facilitate speedy research for leading cases and developments in the common law world.
