Interlocutory Injunctions
Acted for a plaintiff against a private company and a listed securities company to apply for an injunction to restrain them from disposing of the major assets of the private company, which assets are a substantial amount of shares of a listed company in Hong Kong.
Acted for a plaintiff against a bank to apply for an injunction to restrain it from paying on a letter of credit in relation to a bill of lading.
Acted for a plaintiff tenant to oppose application for injunction to restrain the plaintiff from remaining in occupation of certain premises in Kowloon Bay.
Acted for defendants land owners to discharge an injunction concerning a dispute over the use of a footpath or right of way.
Acted for defendants to oppose application for an injunction concerning the use of baskets in relation to the poultry industry.
Acted for a defendant (who was a director and employee of the plaintiff) and 2 other defendants (as nominees of the director) to discharge a Mareva injunction in relation to the defendant’s breach of his fiduciary duties and trust towards the plaintiff in making secret profits out of placement of shares wherein the plaintiff acted as a broker in such placement.
