Practice Profile

Michael came to the bar with over 10 years of commercial experience, having held senior management roles at multinational companies such as Manulife, Nomura, and KPMG.

Michael is developing a broad civil and criminal practice, and has experience in areas such as defamation, land law, tort law, employment law, judicial review, family law, road traffic offences, and general commercial litigation. Michael also undertakes advisory and drafting work in relation to initial public offerings and regulatory compliance matters. 

During his legal studies, Michael received numerous awards and scholarships, including placing amongst the top 5% of his class in every year of his Juris Doctor studies. He is a regular participant of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, both as a team member and student coach.   

He accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work.
