Naresh L Daryanani was born in Hong Kong and is an English and Cantonese speaker.
He completed his Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours in 1989, and subsequently his PCLL.
He was a Solicitor from 1993 to 2001 and now a Barrister from 2001 onwards. He is also an Accredited Mediator since 2011.
He is a vastly experienced criminal and civil practitioner. He has represented clients at all levels from various Government Departments to Tribunals to the Magistracies, the District Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal and at the Court of Final Appeal (Leave Committee). He has represented lay clients, professionals (including other lawyers), companies, government departments and other organizations in more than a thousand legal matters and is knowledgeable in most areas of the law.
In relation to a case it has been commented that he “has taken care to see that everything that can possibly be said on behalf of his client has been said."
In his spare time he enjoys playing chess and was a former Hong Kong Junior Chess Champion. He also enjoys sharing his legal experience and was a former part-time law lecturer.
